Shen Yun Performing Arts, the show that aims to revive traditional Chinese dance, culture and music, has been in Sydney for 10 days.
A total of 11 shows lured public figures to Luna Park's Big Top Theatre.
[Don Page, New South Wales Member of Parliament]:
"The dancing was superb; and the stories were great; and the way in which you blended the backgrounds with the stories - it was just a very uplifting event; we really enjoyed it."
Entertainment experts also came.
[Liz Keemink, Former Ballet Dancer]:
"I was quite amazed that there were no gymnastics involved - that it was actually traditional Chinese dance - because it was very aerobatic."
[Alex Robertson, Vocal Artist Manager]:
"They are a very talented bunch on that stage and - from a vocal artist manager's point of view - the singers were inspirational, especially the tenor tonight."
[Laurence Jervis, Information Technology Project Manager]:
"I don't think he [the tenor] needed that microphone (laughs)."
And members of the business community too.
[Hari Rana, Corporate Chief Executive]:
"You should go and see it; it's a once in a life-time opportunity to see so many [ethnic Chinese] regions under one roof and experience different dances and get to know about the culture and the heritage."
Shen Yun will next perform in the Australian capital of Canberra.
